After Briefing the trip plan we will privately transfer you to the Mannar. (6 Hrs.)

Enroot, visit Munneswaram Kovil & Manavari Temple in Chilaw which are related to Sri Lanka Ramayana story. (2 Hrs.)

• Munneswaram Kovil: Place where the King Rama prayed to Shiva after committing the worst crime named as Brahmahasti (The curse of killing a Brahmin).

• Manavari Temple: This is the first place where Lord Rama installed and prayed the Siva lingam. At present this lingam at Manavari temple is named as Ramalingam as this lingam was erected by Rama.

Transfer to Mannar. (4 Hrs.)

• Ram Setu Bridge (Adam’s Bridge): The bridge was constructed by Lord Rama and his Vanara (monkey) army according to the Ramayana. Surprisingly, this path is still visible even today.

• The Kanniya Hot Water Springs: This linked to the Ramayana through the story of Ravana and his grief over the death of his mother. This act of creating the springs is attributed to his intense sorrow and devotion to his mother.

• Pigeon Island National Park*: This is one of the two marine national parks in Sri Lanka and contains some of the best coral reefs in the country – making it amazing for snorkelling.

• Sita Kotuwa: The places where Sita was allegedly kept during her captivity in Lanka. • Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple: Believed that Hanuman was searching for Sita Devi from a place called“Ravana Goda” close to this Bhakta Hanuman Temple.

• Chariot Path in Pussellawa: The route taken by Ravana’s chariot when he transported Sita to different locations after abducting her.
